Prescription drugs shortage at Health Facilities

Kingston, Jamaica:
The Ministry of Health says that that the only problem they face since the abolition of User fees at Health Facilities across the island, on April 1, 2008, is that they aren't able to fill the prescription of patients that visit hospitals and clinics.

The Health Ministry however, reported that the visits by members of the public is not overwhelming for the Health Sector and things have run smoothly since.

Meanwhile, the Government of have made available $100 million dollars as preliminary subsidies for the island's Health Sector.
