Jamaica advance to KFC Cup cricket finals

Jamaica helped via steady batting from Shawn Findlay (64), and Danza Hyatt (41) and a terrific bowling performance by Australian-born Brendon Nash (4-20) easily defeated a depleted Guyana team by seven wickets in a semi-final encounter of the WICB KFC Regional one-day International at Three Ws Oval in Barbados on Thursday, October 25, 2007.

Guyana, playing without their two West Indies representative Captain Ramnarese Sarwan and Shivnarine Chanderpaul batted first and were restricted to 159-9 in a 43-over a side game.
Opener Sewnarine Chattergoon made most runs for Guyana with a solid 66, while medium pacer Nash took four wickets in a nine-over spell.
Jamaica through Findlay's half century, Hyatts patient knock and Brenton Parhcment's 35, steered Jamaica to 160-3 with 2.4 overs to spare.
The finals is scheduled for Sunday, October 28, 2007.
