Jamaica's youth cricketers eye title

BASSETERRE, St Kitts:
Second placed nation Jamaica are in a fight for first innnings points in the
their final round TLC-sponsored West Indies Regional U-19 Cricket League match against the Windward Islands, in BASSETERRE, St Kitts, on Thursday, August 9, 2007.
Jamaica were bowled out for 209 runs, with openers Christie Jones and Horace Miller scoring an even 50, against the fine spin bowling from Dalton Polius who wrecked the Jamaica batting with a haul of 8-96.

Windwards replied strongly racing to 75 with out loss, with Lindon Lawrence 37, and Wayne Harer 31, the not out batsmen at the close of play.
Jamaica needs an outright win against the Windwards, and hope that Barbados can avoid a defeat against defending champs Guyana.
Jamaica went into this match on a high as they are coming off a morale boosting innings and 50-run triumph against leaders Guyana, who are on 30 points, three points ahead of Jamaica (27), the 2004 champs.
