Jamaican Singjay Mr Vegas has lit up the Dancehall with another energetic song: ʽTek weh yuh selfʼ on a booming rhythm that have dancers both young and mature pumping profusely on the dance floor.

The dance involves a performer countering another dancer and practically, asking him/her to leave his/her section of the stage, or a complete exit of one's self.

But as you: 'Tek weh yuh self', the dancer comes back in front of his/her foe and declared that this dancer should also 'tek weh dem self', and a dance off is ignited.

Mr. Vegas was first on the musical seen a number of years ago with tunes such as 'Heads high'...('Kill dem with de no'). However, is popularity took a nose dive, when he was abroad, and also the faster rhythms came into play.

He however, got back to his best with the tune: 'Hot Wuk', a spin off of Toney Matterhorn's 'Dutty Wine'.

Mr. Vegas as long seen himself as 'the girls dem pet', and has done R. Kelly type persona; for instance pulling off his shirt and dancing in a leud way with women to show his male potency.

Please note: A Singjay, is an artiste who has a DJ mento tone, but harmonizes like a soul singer.
