Police personnel in St Catherine is still searching for clues to what was described as a heinous crime in Bog Walk St Catherine yesterday morning, when five men were murdered execution style, with gun shots to the back of their heads.
According to the Police a lone gun man pounced on a group of men at a gambling table, and forced them to lie flat on their stomachs and proceeded to shot his victims in the back of their heads.
Speculations were high that they were killed because of their involvement in drugs.
But people who knew the men said that they are hardworking individuals who played dominoes at the same location as enjoyment.
All the men that were killed is believed to be not from the area.
Jamaica's murder toll has escalated since the start of the year with over 140 persons being murdered including four Police officers in January, another cop was also killed this week, pushing it to five cops died so far this week.
