How it started

The term Aramac comes from the African origin which means strength, it also hails from the name Camera when turned backwards, ironically the name Camara hails from the African origin, which also means strong. Hence whether you say Camara or Aramac it represents the same sentiments and also the purpose that God has for the lives of human beings/mankind here on earth. Another interesting irony is in the fact that the founder of Aramac Entertainment Agency’s name is Camara K Rowe whose favorite biblical scripture and motivation is “young men I call you because you are strong”……

We can therefore unequivocally surmise that the shuffling of the name Camara and Aramac is more than co-incidence, but a spiritual revelation given to the founder that the almighty God wanted to use him for bringing lost souls to his kingdom of Jehovah God and to mobilize the family structure in Jamaica and the world at large. It was therefore mandated upon the founder to create ways and means to influence change within a society which has a spiraling crime wave and to help those who are less fortunate.

With this mandate our founder decided to start an organization called Aramac Entertainment Agency. A company that would provide services such as the managing and booking of events for local and international gospel acts.
Having been Nominated Promoter of the year by the prestigious Maja Awards ( ), Aramac continues to manage and promote some of Jamaica’s best in the genre, such as: Dj Nicholas, Jason Mighty, Perfect Love, Kareem, major songbird Terry Wedderburn , rising group from Montego Bay, New Generation and RNR.
Aramac continues to make a mark on our Christian society and in keeping with our mission which is to help those less fortunate.
