Jamaica Under-16 Netballers last Friday night wrestled the Caribbean U-16 title from rivals Barbados after a 38-16 win against the latter in Trinidad and Tobago.
The young girlz won eight consecutive matches to remain undefeated for the tournament.
Jamaica?s top shooter Christina Salmon was voted as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the of the competition.
It was sweet revenge for the Jamaicans as last year Barbados defeated them 26-24 in the penultimate match of the tournament, leaving Jamaica to play second fiddle in a sport the island has dominated in this region for decades.
Congratulations girls you did us proud!
