DJ Nicholas conversion from being a Rastafarian to a man of God a number of years ago is very inspiring to young people, and he now sings a new song in his role of a ‘God man’.
Since this year the man whose real name is Nicholas Eccleston has brought Gospel Reggae to another level, following in the foot steps of former secular DJs such as Papa San, and Lt. Stitchie who came to know Christ and transformed their lyrical tongue to please the Almighty.
DJ Nicholas’ hits this year include ‘Godman’, ‘Naah Bow’, featuring Kevin Downswell and Jermaine Edwards the worship master from his debut album entitled: ‘On the Shout’. The DJ teamed up with Kerron Ennis twice to deliver two hits such as ‘Daddy oh’ and ‘Holy Ghost Church’.
One of DJ Nicholas’ latest hit ‘Back 2 de owna’ is done on a heavy beat like most of his songs, but the DJ as he said during a recent show wants people to listen to the lyrics “as it sends a message”. In this powerful selection he hit out against evil and things that are abomination to the Lord such as adultery and fornication and used the ‘word’ to send it straight back to the owner of sin-the devil himself.
