I had the chance of watching Casino Royal at its premier in Jamaica and was totally disappointed and would like a refund.
The attempt to change the character of James Bond as we know it was a shot in the arm. Here is a list of things I love about the past James Bond:
1. He never has a problem getting the ladies
2. The love scenes are captivating
3. James Bond never falls in love in such a way that it distorts his judgment
4. Gadgets on his car and on his person are way before his time
5. Smooth verbal communication
Things I hate about the current bond "Daniel Craig":

1. He fails (He lost millions at the card game and had to beg some money before he could win again)
2. He had to be saved by a woman after he was poisoned and visited death's door.
3. Not very articulate (no lyrics), his jokes are pretty corney
4. No gadgets (His cars were all normal), there was nothing significant about his cell phone.
5. Love seines were mechanical in an attempt not to offend the stiff neck people
I think the makers of Casino Royal attempted to make James Bond an American Action hero.
That character who is ruthless (kills off every body) and at the same time unable to communicate properly and is defeated by a woman.
For me I see James Bond as a super hero. Just like a Super Man and a Spider Man. They always win as a result you always want to be like them even though in the back of your mind you know that you can't.
In an attempt to make this James Bond more human, the directors have taken away the super hero element.
I want the James Bond we have grown to love back. Mr Daniel Craig is an embracement to 007.
Please go watch the movie and let me know if you share the same sentiments.

I agree with all of the above, and to add insult to injury, he has a gay following. There was absolutely no hint of 'gayness, about the previous bonds.
