
Defending ISSA/Pepsi/JN Manning Cup champions Calabar High School thrashed Wolmers High School 2-0 at the Stadium East Field yesterday to share the lead atop Group Two.
Calabar now on three points; got their goals courtesy of Cleon Brown in the 46th minute and Conroy Cunningham?s 72nd minute strike.
Meanwhile former champs Norman Manley silenced Waterford 2-0 through goals from Romario Campbell 34th and Rushane Berry in the 46th minute of play to join Calabar at the top of the group on three points.
In Group one action earlier this week Bridgeport High and Camperdown played out a six -goal thriller as the game ended 3-3. Excelsior edged Jonathan Grant 2-1 in the earlier game at the Stadium East field to claim the lead atop group one on three points, Camperdown and Bridgeport are one point each, while Jonathan Grant is yet to get off the mark.
