Mellow vibes was the place to be on October 28th 2006. Patrons danced up a storm as the dj’s delivered 70’s, 80’s and 90’s tunes to the crowd. With ladies free before 11 pm, females flocked the place which indeed carried the men to the party. One would think that females would try their best to come before 11 0’clock but this was not the case. Even after this time females could be seen hanging out at the venue as well as in the lines to buy the tickets to enter Mas Camp.
A wonderful party some would describe it to be while others said it was the best oldies party they had been to all year. Mas Camp was crammed by about 2:00 in the morning but patrons were still making their way in to enjoy what was left at the party; which was a lot. Welton Irie who first touched the mixing machine showed off his masterful skills by jamming the crowd with Dennis Browns hits in addition to some Beres Hammond hits. A little later Mixmaster Marvin took over and really got the crowd to participate. Later in the night patrons could be seen dancing to song ‘Follow the Leader Leader Leader.’ They joined lined and followed each other on circles.
At about 4:00 am patrons begun to clear out as the rain fell lightly. Even a little rain could not stop these people from enjoying themselves. All in all Mellow vibes was the place to be.
