Tanya Stephens These Streets Lyrics

INTRO
You know, I can still remember when it was just me and you,
Suddenly, it turned you and your crew... forget everything bout your 'Boo'
Ah boy

VERSE 1
I wish you woulda treat me like your glock, I woulda love it if you keep me pon cock
I wish you woulda treat me like your yacht, keep me wet while the waves dem a rock
Why you cant stay pon me like the corner, keep your lips pon me like your marijuana
I woulda love it if you treat me like the club, stay up inna me whole night just a bump 'n grind 'n rub
You dont understand what your woman needs from her man
While you deh pon the streets all the time, just bear this in mind

HOOK
These streets dont love you like I do, you need fi know that
You wanna keep your woman loving you then you need fi show that
The love we have weh did take so much effort fi build, you about fi blow that
But just like a played out jersey, you about fi get throwback

VERSE 2
I wish you woulda treat me like a ounce, me know you nah leggo that when you bounce
You shoulda deh home a knock boots like your Tims, need fi act older than the size a yuh rims
I wish you woulda stay pon me like the phone man, never leave the house without me like your chrome man
I wish you woulda treat me like your whips, your girl's a perfect 10 but your Benz dem a only a 5 and a 6
You dont understand what your woman needs from her man
While you deh pon the streets all the time, just bear this in mind

(Repeat Hook)

VERSE 3
Now the feds have them case and the gavel a pound, me a look fi a familiar face me no see none around
When you call me collect a gi mi errands fi do me nuh see no hot gal me nuh see none of your 'crew'
Government seize everything, the G's everything and another baller done take over the spot
A run trees everything, the keys, everything and 10 calls a month is all you've got saying
Now you understand what your woman needs from her man
While you deh pon the streets all the time you shoulda bear this in mind

Nuh fall in love with the corner, you cant say me never warn you

ENGLAND SPOIL CARIBBEAN PARTY

ENGLAND SPOIL CARIBBEAN PARTY

England’s interest in the last match in Group A of the ICC Champions Trophy was just to rescue a modicum of prestige by preventing a third straight defeat. The West Indies, on the other hand, had a lot to play for. Even though the holders of the title had already qualified for the semi-final, they had a couple of important objectives to achieve in this match.

West Indies wanted to win this match and make it three in a row and top the group so that they can make sure of meeting New Zealand in the semi-final. There is no hiding the fact that they would rather play the Black Caps than the Proteas, as their semi-final rivals, considering the tremendous form that the South Africans are in at the moment after their runaway success over Pakistan.

Premier says he is most looking forward to working with Houston, who reunited with Arista/J head Clive Davis recently to start planning her first new studio album in four years.

In recent years, Houston has battled drug addiction and last month filed for divorce from singer Bobby Brown, her husband of 14 years. Premier thinks the long-subdued pop star can make a grand reentrance. "She deserves another chance," he says. "I won't misguide her career and give her some bulls**t [track]."

Television personality Carlene Smith, formerly known as Carlene the Dancehall Queen, believes that the high intensity media glare on the relationship between dancehall celebrity couple Beenie Man and D’Angel is unhealthy for the long-term survival of their marriage.

Carlene, who is the host of the popular show, ’Our Voices’ on CVM television, enjoyed a public relationship with Beenie Man in the 1990s that captivated the Jamaican society. However, the two parted ways several years ago in a high-profile break-up that rocked the dancehall world, but have remained friends through the years, especially since their union bore a daughter, Crystal.
